Leonard Rivera Law

Leonard Rivera Law is a data privacy and cybersecurity practice. Privacy law changes faster than most firms can publish about it, so we built the site around the publishing path rather than around the brochure. Live at lrlawpllc.com.

What we built

A full practice site: the firm's service areas (drafting and negotiating DPAs and DTIAs, third-party risk management systems, vendor contract review, incident-preparedness tabletop exercises, cyber insurance analysis), attorney background, a contact form, and Insights, the commentary blog that does most of the work of showing expertise.

Why the blog was the hard part

Privacy law is a moving target. California's Delete Act, Washington's health data law, and the questions AI raises about consent all arrived after this site launched, and each one was worth commentary the week it landed, not the quarter after.

That makes the publishing path the product. A firm that has to file a ticket to post an article stops posting articles, and the expertise the site is supposed to demonstrate quietly goes stale.

Our approach

We wired the Insights feed into the homepage so a new post surfaces itself. Writing the article is the whole job: no layout work, no homepage edit, no call to us. The rest of the page is Elementor blocks the firm can reorder without touching code.

The site has been live and publishing since 2021, with new commentary going up this year. That continuity is the outcome worth citing, and unlike a traffic number, anyone can check it.

How it's built.

WordPress

The platform underneath, chosen because the firm publishes often and needed to do it without us.

Elementor

Page layout as editable blocks, so practice areas and service lists can change as the practice does.

Jetpack

Search, image delivery, and site security on the hosted WordPress.com stack.

Elementor Forms

The contact form, routed straight to the firm rather than through a third-party inbox.
